Females were captured attracted to humans in forest at mid-day. A single adult was captured in a malaise trap in rain forest.
Larvae were collected from perforated bambo as well as internodes and bamboo stumps in association with unidentified species of Culex (Carrollia), Culex (Melanoconion), Orthopodomyia, Trichoprosopon and Wyeomyia.
