Species very small, endemic to the sierras of central Argentina (Lanteri & Morrone 1995). It is distinguished by the flat eyes, the pair of dark-brown maculae on the elytra, and the short, recumbent elytral setae. It is flightless and probably parthenogenetic.
Associated with vegetation of the Espinal biographic province.
