Las larvas y pupas fueron recolectadas de las axilas de especies de Eryngium (Apiaceae) asociadas a larvas de Culex renatoi y Culex hepperi. Se han colectado pupas en todas las estaciones del año, aún en pleno invierno, por lo que se podría inferir que no existe diapausa invernal.
