Relación con enfermedades: desconocido.
Larvas y pupas de Culex chidesteri se han colectado de charcos semipermanentes y pequeñas lagunas con vegetación (Pistia sp., among others). Las hembras y las larva sse registraron durante todo el año en la provincia de Chaco, Argentina. Las hembras se colectaron con trampas de luz CDC con luz UV colocada en un ambiente antrópico.
