Las larvas se colectaron de los internodos de bambú del género Guadua con larvas de Toxorhynchites y Sabethes identicus (Campos et al., 2011), así como en Bambusa vulgaris var. vittata en provincias del noreste argentino (Alvarez et al. 2024).
