The breeding places were found mainly in ground waters in manmade environments, represented by open lands. Artificial ditches and ponds, and small streamlets, all with densely growing vegetation. Immature stages were found in association with Culex oedipus, Culex plectoporpe, and Culex ribeirensis. Adults were collected in human settlements, sometimes in domiciliary environments.
