Habitat and breeding sites
The species has been collected in full sunlight along the margins of small lakes, ground pools, ponds in a pasture, and a ditch next to a road. The water was permanent or temporary, always clear, fresh, with slow current or stagnant, without vegetation, or with abundant grassy vegetation.
