Observations
Type locality: Misiones, San Pedro and El Dorado Road, 10 km W of San Pedro, III-11-66, 1M, García & Casal.
Disease relations: unknown.

Habitat and breeding sites
Casal (1967) mentioned that larvae were collected in a flooded depression, associated with larvae of Culex intrincatus, Culex bejaranoi, Culex chidesteri, and Culex dolosus.
