"García & Ronderos (1962) and Carcavallo & Martínez (1968b) apparently misquoted Martinez et al. (1959) by listing Misiones, Salta and Santa Fe as the provinces in which this species occurs, when actually the latter authors recorded Formosa, Chaco, Santa Fe and Salta provinces." (Mitchell & Darsie, 1985).
