Observations
Type locality: Tres Pozos, Embarcación, Salta Province.
Habitat and breeding sites
Immature stages were collected from shallow, temporary, ground pools with clear or turbid water, with or without emergent grasses and full exposure to sun light. They were found in association with larvae of Ochlerotatus albifasciatus, Psorophora ciliata, Psorophora cingulata, Psorophora cyanescens, Psorophora pallescens and Psorophora varinervis.
