"According to Berlin (1969) and Knight & Stone (1977), this species was known only from the type series collected in Yungas de Coroico, Bolivia; therefore, the Argentine record is questionable. Subsequently, Peyton et al. (1983) collected this species in southeast Bolivia during 1982." (Mitchell & Darsie, 1985).
Larva, pupa and female unknown.
