Creole poplar (Populus nigra L.) (Paradell & Dellapé, 2015).
This species is native to Europe. Its presence in Argentina has been reported in Mendoza, Neuquén and Río Negro associated with poplar trees, causing defoliation and yellowing of the leaves (Paradell & Dellapé, 2015). In Italy and France it has been associated with the transmission of poplar rot disease (Phytoplasma diclain del alamo) (Cousin et al., 1999; Wientraub & Beanland, 2006; Knight, 2010)
