Also known from Chile (Schuh & Polhemus 2009).
 
Occurs at altitudes between sea level and 3030 m; the specimens from the sea-level localities were taken in grassy areas at the high tide mark, other habitats are the shores of ponds or streams and in all cases the substrate had significant vegetative cover (Schuh & Polhemus 2009).
