La localidad tipo es San Pedro, provincia de Jujuy (Knight & Stone 1977).
Especimenes adultos fueron colectadas con trampa Shannon en un área periurbana de la región forestal ligeramente desmontada de los Yungas (Apumaita et al., 2023).
