Observations
Type locality: Quebrada de Piquirenda, Salta Province, Argentina. XI-26-65, 46F, 38M, 38P, 148L, 23 lpAd, Fernández, Hepper, García & Casal.
Disease relations: unknown.
Habitat and breeding sites
Immature stages have been collected from puddles between rocks in a stream bed and from phytotelmata of Aechmea distichantha along with Nyssorhynchus argyritarsis, Ochlerotatus crinifer, Culex imitator, Toxorhynchites guadeloupensis, and Culex pleuristriatus.
