"Schick (1970b) pointed out that the terrens group is poorly known, specially in northern Argentina. He has several small collections from there which apparently represent undescribed species." (Mitchell & Darsie, 1985).
Ochlerotatus terrens larvae, in Argentina, were found breeding in tree holes and bamboo stumps.
