Observations
The photographs of a male taken in January 2019 in Chaco and first published on iNaturalist seem to represent the only fourth record of this species, beside three widely spread records from the early 20th century, ranging from northern Brazil all the way south to Paraguay). It is distinguished by the unique shape of the pronotum. Tegmen length about 2 cm.
