Small and reclusive meadow katydid with strongly reduced wings. Males with peculiar cerci, each sporting a long transversal spine at the tip. In grassland close to sand dunes along the Atlantic coast, inland probably overlooked on river banks. Male 13-14 mm, female 15 mm without ovipositor.
