Some specimens from Argentina (Mendoza and San Juan) previously assigned to Russelliana solanicola in Serbina et al. (2015) belong to R. didyma
Polyphagous.
Amaranthaceae, Asteraceae, Escalloniaceae and Solanaceae are confirmed as hosts by the presence of immature psyllids.
Fabaceae, Nothofagaceae, Poaceae, Rhamnaceae, and Zygophyllaceae are suggested not to be hosts because adults but not immature were collected.
