In Argentina, P. guildinii affects the leaves of “safflower” Carthamus tinctorius L., “alfalfa” Medicago sativa L., and “common bean” Phaseolus vulgaris L., and the spike of “wheat” Triticum aestivum L. This species also attacks flowers and fruits of “quinoa” Chenopodium quinoa Willd., fruits of “cotton” Gossypium hirsutum L. and “lentil” Lens culinaris Medikus, and flowers, fruits, leaves and seeds of “soybean” Glycine max L.
