About the catalogue
This database of Encyrtidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) species was compiled by the authors through their own field work and from available scientific literature. Names of genera and species have been listed. For each species, the following information is given: synonymy, taxonomy (keys, diagnosis and classification) distribution, associates, biology, economic importance and links to related databases. When possible, the species are illustrated with photographs, in several cases with type specimens.
