Sintipo depositado en el Museo de La Plata (MLP) (Coscaron et al. 2015).
Se ha encontrado peridómesticamente entre leña, pero básicamente es una especie silvestre, asociada con roedores y didelfidos (Lent & Wygodzinsky 1979).
