In the original description there is an illustration of the species and a key to identify it from some other species of Teleonemia (Champion, 1898). Drake & Hambleton (1938) mention the species for Argentina for the first time without providing information about province or locality, later is recorded for the provinces of Misiones (Drake & Poor, 1939) and Buenos Aires (Carpintero & De Biase, 2011).
